#10 - Aquarium
The Dallas World aquarium has more than 85,000 gallons of saltwater with marine life from around the world. There is a 22,000 gallon tunnel you can walk through and feel like you are actually part of an amazing reef life. There are ten 2,000 gallon displays with fish and animals from all around the world, for example Palau, Southern Australia, Lord Howe Island, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Bahamas, British Columbia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Japan. Which represent the water from all the continents, three oceans and many seas, this aquarium is a walk through the underwater world.
In this display you will also find flora and fauna of the tropical rainforest and savannas. There is also a display of the southern tip of the African continent. Since South Africa contains 9 of the natural biomes, it is a very diverse and interesting habitat from deserts to forests. Mundo Maya is an exhibit of the Yucatan’s gulf coast and the highland rainforest. It shows and explains this great culture. In the Maya world many countries are included like Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Mexico.
